Coral Haven started as a dream when owner Joe Eckman went scuba diving while on a family vacation in 2000. After more than 10 years in the industy, Joe opened Coral Haven in April of 2013. Coral Haven provides a clean and modern aquarium experience for hobbyists in the Quad Cities.

 

All the employees of Coral Haven are saltwater enthusiasts, and saltwater is the exclusive focus of Coral Haven. There are no freshwater animals or products, everything is saltwater. This enables Coral Haven to provide quality customer service.

 

The store was designed by Joe, and the fish and coral systems have powerful filtration and life support systems. Both fresh and salt water is produced in the store by an industrial reverse osmosis/deionization system. Coral Haven only uses reef compatible salt as it simply produces healthier fish and corals.
