Frogfish are tiny fish aliens!
This gif was made from a video that I took back in 2013. At the time I had a female warty angler or frogfish (maculatus) and a red painted frogfish (pictus). They began doing this dance after a few months of living together, and the female (errantly named Winston lol) became swollen with eggs. Although the eggs never hatched or matured, it was an amazing sight to see these bizarre animals interact with mating displays in a nano cube.
