Rare ventralis anthias at Coral Haven

We are glad that we took a video of this amazing pair of rare and expensive ventralis anthias that we received last spring. The vibrant pink, orange, and yellow coloration is sublime. They almost looked fake! These are deep water anthias, and as such, are fairly shy. We had them in our store for more than a month before they sold, and they turned out to be fairly reclusive and shy fish.

These reef-safe fish would be a good choice for a larger, established aquarium that can provide shaded hiding places where these anthias can hang out comfortably.
